In 2005, computer programmer and former bivocational church planter Mark was approached by several pastor friends in San Diego, California for help in using a new medium called “podcasting.” Unable to find an easy-to-use system for them to utilize, Mark decided to create a way to make it easy for churches, pastors and ministries to place their sermons online. Podcast Your Sermons debuted as a service of our already-existing full stack web development business, Flashlight Media, LLC.
Podcast Your Sermons helped provide some of the financial support for Mark and his wife, Alisha, in their full-time missionary service in the Republic of Ireland for almost five years with Mark pastoring a rural church, returning to the States in 2011 to work full-time in our business.
Mark holds over 30 years of varied programming experience in various languages including PHP, MySQL, Javascript, and AJAX. Alisha draws on over 20 years experience in graphic design, advertising and promotion, plus over 15 years experience in HTML and UX.
